AUSTIN, Texas — The University of Texas Men's Basketball team is ranked No. 5 in The Associated Press' Preseason Top 25, the wire service announced Monday. This marks UT's highest preseason AP poll ranking for the Longhorns since the 2009-10 season, when Texas was tabbed at No. 3. It also marks the first time in program history that the Longhorns have been ranked in The AP preseason poll under a first-year head coach.
