WACO, Texas — Graduate guard Max Abmas posted a season-high 33 points, but Texas (19-11, 8-9 Big 12) dropped a 93-85 decision at No. 11/11 Baylor (22-8, 11-6 Big 12) on Monday night in Foster Pavilion. Abmas moved up to No. 8 on the NCAA Division I men's all-time scoring list (3,073 points) and climbed to No. 4 on the NCAA Division I men's all-time career three-pointers made chart (505).
Abmas converted a season-best 13-of-21 field goals, including 4-of-10 from three-point range, and 3-of-3 free throws while adding a season-high four steals and five assists against just one turnover in 38 minutes.
