Men's Basketball falls against Arkansas, 78-70

AUSTIN, Texas — Freshman guard Tre Johnson recorded a game-high 25 points, but Texas (15-8, 4-6 SEC) dropped a 78-70 decision to Arkansas (14-8, 3-6 SEC) on Wednesday night inside Moody Center. This marked the first matchup played in Austin between the two former Southwest Conference rivals since the 2010-11 season.

Johnson tied his career high in free throws made (10-12) and rebounds (five) while adding four assists against one turnover and two steals in 37 minutes. Senior Arthur Kaluma recorded his sixth double-double of the season with 12 points (6-6 FT) and a game-high 13 rebounds in 33 minutes.
