PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas – Isaiah Taylor scored 18 points on Friday evening against Michigan at the Battle 4 Atlantis, but it was not enough as the Texas men's basketball team fell to Michigan, 78-72.
The Longhorns shot 50-percent from the field, but the Wolverines countered with a 58-percent shooting night to grab the advantage. Michigan (4-2) was able to hit more shots from beyond the arc that proved to be the difference. The Wolverines were 14-of-25 from long range compared to 10-of-26 for the Longhorns.
Texas (2-3) had three other players join Taylor in double digit scoring.
