BATON ROUGE, La. — Graduate forward Kadin Shedrick recorded a double-double with a season-high 16 points and 10 rebounds, while graduate guard Tramon Mark added a season-high 18 points to lead Texas (15-7, 4-5 SEC) to an emphatic 89-58 victory at LSU (12-9, 1-7 SEC) on Saturday evening in the Maravich Assembly Center. The 31-point win marked UT's largest margin of victory in a road conference game since a 31-point victory (83-52) at Texas Tech on Jan. 11, 2011.
Shedrick converted 6-of-11 field goals, including 1-of-2 threes, and 3-of-4 free throws while posting three assists and three steals in 29 minutes.
