AUSTIN, Texas — Sophomore guard Jase Febres set a career high with 26 points to lead The University of Texas Men's Basketball team (16-13, 8-8 Big 12) to an 86-69 win against Iowa State (20-9, 9-7 Big 12) on Saturday afternoon at the Frank Erwin Center. Febres converted 9-of-11 from the floor, including a career-best 8-of-10 from three-point range, and added 4 rebounds in 35 minutes.
Freshman guard Courtney Ramey tallied 18 points on 6-of-9 shooting, while senior forward Dylan Osetkowski and junior guard Elijah Mitrou-Long each contributed 13 points.
