Alexis Missimo will be a freshman at Southlake Carroll this fall. The 14-year-old soccer prodigy has already been committed to the University of Texas for a year.
Missimo, an attacking center midfielder, committed to UT the summer before eighth grade.
"The soccer program is loaded with great players," Missimo said. "I really connected to the coaching staff, particularly Coach [Angela] Kelly. Also, I know I will be playing with my older sister."
Missimo's sister Gabriella, a midfielder in the Class of 2019, is committed to UT.
