Mansfield senior running back Kennedy Brooks and DeSoto senior offensive lineman Edward Ingram were named to MaxPreps.com's Large Schools Preseason All-America team. The list of offensive players was released Tuesday, and the defensive list is scheduled for Thursday.
Brooks averaged 29 carries per game and ran for 3,522 yards and 42 touchdowns last season as Mansfield reached the state semifinals for the first time.
