AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Track & Field had a multitude of impressive performances last week at the Big 12 Indoor Championship and the Longhorns were honored on Thursday with three postseason awards. Head Coach Mario Sategna earned Men's Coach of the Year Honors while senior Senoj-Jay Givans was named Men's Outstanding Performer of the Year and freshman Rushelle Burton won Women's Outstanding Freshman of the Year honors.
Head Coach Mario Sategna was voted the Big 12 Indoor Men's Coach of the Year by his peers as the Longhorns grabbed the team championship with a total of 123.
