CLEMSON, S.C. – The Texas men's 4x400 relay team closed out the final day of the Clemson Invite registering the fourth-fastest time in program history at 3:05.21.
The team of Jonathan Jones, Matt Nortje, Willington Wright and Brian Herron led Texas to win the final event of the two-day meet. The Texas 'B' team of Jathan Belaire, Leo Neugebauer, Caleb Hulbin and Daniel Garland finished fifth with a time of 3:17.49.
The Longhorns began the day in three field events, sparked by All-American Tripp Piperi winning the men's shot put with a throw of 20.
