Longhorns ready for NFL Playoffs

The journey to Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis begins on Saturday afternoon, as the National Football League's Playoffs begin. Twelve Longhorns have a chance to continue the legacy that The University of Texas has established in the Super Bowl.

A Longhorn has appeared in the last 12 Super Bowls (2006-17), the longest stretch in UT history. In total, 54 former Longhorns have been members of 45 different Super Bowl squads. Twenty-four of those players have claimed Super Bowl Champion rings, with Casey Hampton, Dan Neil, Terry Orr and Aaron Ross winning a pair of titles. Malcom Brown of the New England Patriots will look for his second title after winning Super LI in dramatic fashion last season at NRG Stadium in Houston.
