Longhorns place 13 on Preseason All-SEC Teams

AUSTIN, Texas – In a poll of media covering the SEC Media Days this week, Texas earned 13 spots on the Preseason All-SEC Football Team, the conference announced Friday. In addition, Texas was picked to finish second in the league according to that preseason poll.

The Longhorns had 10 players selected on the three-teams picked on offense and defense, that was third-most in the conference (Georgia, 13; Alabama, 13). The 13 total picks were also third-best (Alabama, 16; Georgia, 15).

Highlighted by left tackle Kelvin Banks Jr.'s preseason first-team selection on offense, quarterback Quinn Ewers, running back CJ Baxter and wide receiver Isaiah Bond each garnered preseason second-team All-SEC accolades.
