Longhorns' physical backs show running game will be a key for the Texas offense

During Texas' spring game, Chris Warren III and D'Onta Foreman showed that the running game will be a key component of the new spread offense.

Warren rushed for 101 yards on seven carries, including a 51-yard touchdown. Foreman added 73 yards on nine carries and a touchdown.

"They are both big and physical," offensive coordinator Sterlin Gilbert said. "It brings an aspect to your running game that a lot of people don't have."
