The Texas Longhorns recruiting efforts have once again reached the Sunshine State, and this time around, the staff is pursuing a prospect already fairly familiar with the Texas program.
On Friday evening, the Longhorns put an offer on the table for Winter Park (Fla.) cornerback Ethan Pouncey, the younger brother of redshirt sophomore receiver Jordan Pouncey, he announced on Twitter.
Though he isn’t quite as coveted of a recruit as his brother — Jordan owned 47 offers — Pouncey boasts invitations from some of the nation’s most prominent programs, such as Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Miami, Clemson, Georgia, Michigan, and Penn State.
