If I was to tell you 10 years ago that Garrett Gilbert would be the starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, you’d probably think his career at Texas would go a little bit different than it really did. The former Texas and SMU quarterback is the fourth quarterback to start for Dallas this year, replacing Ben DiNucci.
Gilbert threw for 243 yards with a touchdown and an interception in the Cowboys loss. With Andy Dalton in line to return after the bye week, Gilbert will likely return to the sideline as the backup.
You cannot stop Garrett Gilbert, you can only hope to contain him pic.
