Longhorns in the NFL: Super Bowl LIII

The University of Texas has a long history with the National Football League and the Super Bowl, as Super Bowl LIII marks the 14th straight season that a Longhorn will make an appearance in the game. The game, which features the New England Patriots against the Los Angeles Rams, kicks off on Sunday night at 5:30 p.m. CT and will be televised on CBS from inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

For the third consecutive season, Lifetime Longhorn Malcom Brown and the Patriots are appearing in the game, tying Brown with Casey Hampton for the most all-time Super Bowl appearances among Longhorns.
