The journey to Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis continues on Saturday afternoon as the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs begin. Nine Longhorns remain in the hunt, after the Tennessee Titans (Brian Orakpo) and New Orleans Saints (Alex Okafor, Kenny Vaccaro and Mykkele Thompson) moved on with wins in the wild card round last week.
A Longhorn has appeared in the last 12 Super Bowls (2006-17), the longest stretch in UT history. In total, 54 former Longhorns have been members of 45 different Super Bowl squads. Twenty-four of those players have claimed Super Bowl Champion rings, with Casey Hampton, Dan Neil, Terry Orr and Aaron Ross winning a pair of titles.
