Texas Longhorns alum Julien Alfred won gold in the 100m Olympic finals over the weekend. The St. Lucia native became the first of her country to win an Olympic gold medal. She bested USA’s Sha’Carri Richardson, an alum of new SEC league mate LSU, in the finals.
