First-year Alabama head coach and soon-to-be Southeastern Conference nemesis Kalen DeBoer offered up a few nice words earlier this week about the Texas Longhorns head football coach.
“He’s done a great job, building it, improving it each and every year,” DeBoer told those attending SEC Spring Meetings, according to On3. “Of course, I’ve seen that the last two years. Extremely competitive team with a lot of talent, played with great physicality, and been through it now. Won some big games, also learning from the experiences that they’ve had together as a program.”
That includes beating Alabama in Nick Saban’s final season at the helm.
