QUERETARO, Mexico – With the 2018-19 season in the rearview, six members of the Texas track and field program continued to find success internationally, as they each earned medals at the NACAC Championships in Mexico over the weekend.
Former Longhorn sprinter Teahna Daniels highlighted the group by winning a gold medal in the U23 100-meter dash with an 11.03 (3.3) performance in the final. Daniels' impressive showing comes on the heels of earning three All-America honors at last month's NCAA Outdoor Championships.
She received first-team accolades in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay to bring her career total to 10 All-America honors.
