On Friday, he was asked about the two Texas quarterbacks competing for the starting job and shared his thoughts on junior Tyrone Swoopes and redshirt freshman Jerrod Heard.
Tim Cole was expected to take over for the departed Jordan Hicks and Steve Edmond. Missed practice time has allowed some of the younger players to gain ground on the junior.
