Longhorn Headlines: LaMarcus Aldridge To Los Angeles?

Former Longhorn big-man LaMarcus Aldridge could soon find an new NBA home. According to a recently published report from the L.A. Times, the Lakers are set to offer the four-time all-star $80 million over the next four years.

The Lakers have enough money for only one big-name free agent, gathering about $23 million in spending power after declining the $9-million option on free-agent center-forward Jordan Hill in a couple of days. Aldridge would make almost $19 million next season after pulling down $16.3 million last season.

Last week, the Longhorns landed 2015 punter from Australia, Michael Dickson, the only scholarship punter on the roster heading into the fall.
