The Texas Longhorns will be without two players for at least a portion of fall practice, as linebacker Prince Dorbah and deep snapper Justin Mader will miss time following arthroscopic knee surgery.
With Texas implementing a new defensive scheme, in addition to depth and experience issues at linebacker, Dorbah had an opportunity to compete for playing time in his first year on campus. As a member of the 2020 recruiting class, Dorbah was the No. 126 player overall and the No. 7 linebacker nationally.
Mader, the third-year deep snapper, took over duties as a freshman in the season opener against the Maryland Terrapins.
