For the first time since 2010, the Texas Longhorns will travel to Houston to play the Rice Owls at NRG Stadium. On Friday, Rice announced the kickoff time for the Week Three contest on Sept. 14 — 7 p.m. Central.

Texas is 72-21-1 in the all-time series against Rice, with the last meeting a 42-28 win by the Longhorns at Darrel K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in 2015.
