BUDAPEST, Hungary – Texas Swimming's Drew Kibler helped the United States win bronze in the mixed 4x100-meter freestyle relay at the FINA World Championships on Friday at the Danube Arena, while Anna Elendt qualified for Germany in the women's 50-meter breaststroke final.
Australia won the mixed 4x100 free relay in world record fashion, posting a time of 3:19.38. Canada placed second in 3:20.61 and the United States took third in 3:21.09.
Kibler earned a bronze medal by competing in the event's preliminary round, helping the U.S. to the top time in the heats of 3:24.
