Former Longhorn WR Kendall Sanders was found not guilty of sexual assault by an Austin jury today. The jury deliberated for four hours over two days and returned a unanimous not guilty verdict regarding a June, 2014 incident that resulted in Strong booting both players from the team.
The prosecution's case against former Longhorn WR Montrel Meander now looks rather shaky in light of this verdict considering that Meander had consensual sex with the accuser and was not named in her initial complaint.
Whether, where and how Sanders and Meander will continue their football and academic ambitions remains to be seen.
