After a solid start to his career with the Texas Longhorns, sophomore running back Keaontay Ingram was named to the Doak Walker Award Watch List on Tuesday.
During his freshman campaign, Ingram split carries with senior Tre Watson, yet still managed to rack up 708 yards on just 142 carries, for an impressive 5.0 yards per carry. Texas fans got a chance to see what Ingram could do as a primary ball-carrier in the midseason contest against the Baylor Bears, when he snapped off 110 yards on 19 carries.
