COLUMBUS, Ohio – Future Longhorn Jordan Windle captured his third title of the meet and won the men's platform final Saturday at the 2017 USA Diving National Championships.
Windle compiled 425.70 points through the six rounds of the platform final and outdistanced his nearest competitor by over 20 points. He totaled a meet-best 85.10 points on his third dive, a forward four-and-a-half somersault.
Windle tallies his third gold medal of the meet to go with junior national titles on three-meter and platform. He finished as the U.S. runner-up in men's three-meter Friday evening.
Texas sophomore Jacob Cornish joined Windle in Saturday's men's platform final.
