The returning XFL announced the locations of its eight franchises on Wednesday.
Among the new football homes was Arlington, Texas in a planned-to-be-retrofitted Globe Life Park after the Texas Rangers move to their new home after next season. And like the Dallas Cowboys, the Arlington field will serve as home for the league's "Dallas" franchise.
"The D-FW market is maybe the market with the most passion for football on all levels in the country," XFL commissioner Oliver Luck said. "It matters there. It's remarkable."
