AUSTIN, Texas – CollegeSwimming.com announced Tuesday the selection of Texas junior Jack Conger as its NCAA Division I Men's Swimmer of the Week. Conger is the second Longhorn to receive the honor this season following classmate Clark Smith's selection last month.
Conger helped No. 1 Texas to victories over No. 8 Auburn and No. 3 Georgia last week in Austin. The 11-time All-American won the 200-yard butterfly in 1 minute, 44.22 seconds and helped the Horns win the 200 medley relay against the Tigers.
The American record holder in the 200 butterfly, Conger won the same event in 1:43.
