AUSTIN, Texas -- Texas Women's Basketball senior Imani Boyette (née McGee-Stafford) married Texas Football's Paul Boyette Jr. during a ceremony in Austin on Saturday.
Imani, the daughter of Kevin Stafford and Pamela McGee, will henceforth take her husband's last name of Boyette. This includes all on-court references during her upcoming senior season of competition (name on jersey, roster, statistics, TV, etc.).
2015 has already been a banner year for the Los Angeles native. Prior to her wedding on Saturday, Imani was the recipient of the prestigious Honda Inspiration Award, named Big 12 Female Sportsperson of the Year, and earned All-Big 12 First Team honors on the court.
