The first of the two major high school all-star games kicks off on Thursday in Orlando at Camping World Stadium when many of the best prospects in the country participate in the 2020 Under Armour All-American game.
As usual, a handful of commitments will occur during the game, but former Texas running back target Zach Evans will not be among the six players announcing their decisions.
The main attractions will be the four Longhorns signees participating. In terms of evaluation purposes, these high school all-star games have limited utility, especially for anyone who doesn’t get to the see the players practice, so there’s no reason to take an overly critical approach to these contests, but it is always a nice sign to see players flash.
