The Texas Longhorns are two years removed from being completely shut out of the NFL Draft, following one of the worst seasons in recent memory.
So much has changed in two seasons, with Texas poised to not only have multiple players drafted but could have multiple players taken in the first round. That group is led by defensive tackle Byron Murphy II — all but a lock for a first-round selection — who rapidly rose up draft boards following the season and did nothing in the draft prep process but improve his stock. Teammate Adonai Mitchell, the sure-handed wide receiver also saw his stock rise in the offseason, following his one season in Austin.
