Coming out of the program’s first conference championship since 2009 and first-ever College Football Playoffs appearance, head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Texas Longhorns have been able to assemble another high-level recruiting class in the 2025 cycle with the help of another superlative season on the gridiron this fall.
Entering Early Signing Day on Wednesday, the Longhorns have the nation’s No. 4 recruiting class with 23 pledges ahead of key decisions from Oklahoma offensive tackle commit Michael Fasusi, Alamo Heights athlete Michael Terry, defensive lineman Justus Terry, edge Javion Hilson, and linebacker Kellen Wiley.
Landing Wiley and Michael Terry, the most likely scenario, would help fill a need at linebacker and add another jumbo athlete to Sarkisian’s offense, which is notably lacking in a physical presence at running back following the season-ending injury sustained by CJ Baxter in preseason camp.
