Junior Beau Hossler shot a career-low 8-under par to win the second tournament of his Texas career.
PORTLAND, Ore. – Junior Beau Hossler won his first tournament of the 2015-16 season on Tuesday with a career-low 197 at the Nike Golf Collegiate Invitational.
Hossler shot a career-low third round 64 to win the tournament by six strokes, following rounds of 68 and 65 on Sunday and Monday. It marks Hossler's second Texas win after earning medalist honors at the Johnny Hayt Collegaite Invitational in March of 2015.
He made 19 birdies, one eagle, one bogey and one double bogey over three days to lead the Longhorns to a tie for fourth.
