The Texas Longhorns have enjoyed a great last half of the summer on the recruiting trail, racking up commitments from six ESPN 300 and five ESPN Jr. 300 prospects since July 1.
In the past 24 hours, Texas has added two more ESPN 300 prospects to the tally.
Saturday morning, Quentin Johnston, the No. 60-ranked prospect overall in the class of 2020, announced he would be playing less than two hours from his home in Temple, Texas. The elite athlete, with a 6-foot-10 high jump to his credit, committed to Texas over TCU and had considered offers from Oklahoma and Notre Dame.
