AUSTIN, Texas – Together with Truist, congratulations to January's Hook 'Em's Community Heroes: from Women's Tennis, Maddy MacNeille, and from Men's Tennis, Micah Braswell.
Maddy's experiences helping those less fortunate than herself have motivated her to continue supporting efforts to fight food insecurity.
"As someone who grew up in a very fortunate area, I haven't witnessed or experienced much hardship. Things like homelessness and food insecurity were beyond my little "bubble". It wasn't until I visited the school my grandma ran, filled with kids much less fortunate than I, that I saw the struggles that many families face every day around the world.
