UT Athletics recognizes the “student” in student-athlete during the 2017 Academic Awards Presentation.
AUSTIN, Texas – The University of Texas Athletics Department took a collective timeout Monday night from practice and competition on the field of play. For one evening on the floor of the Frank Erwin Center, the Longhorn family came together to honor its student-athletes for their accomplishments in the classroom and the community during the 2017 Academic Awards Presentation.
A total of 281 student-athletes earned a spot on the Spring 2016 Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll, including 26 who registered a perfect 4.
