INDIANAPOLIS – Texas Men's Swimming & Diving's Luke Hobson set the 200 free American record with a swim of 1:29.13 on the opening night of competition at the NCAA Championships on Wednesday inside the Indiana University Natatorium.
The Longhorns are tied for fifth place following the first day of the four-day meet after collecting a pair of top-nine relay results to register 50 points, equaling that of NC State. California and Florida are tied for the lead with 70 points and Arizona State is third with 68 points, while Indiana has scored 52 points to sit in fourth.
