AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Football head coach Tom Herman was named to the Dodd Trophy Midseason Watch List, the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year Foundation and Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl announced Thursday. It is the second time in Herman's tenure at Texas (2018) he has been named to the list.
Herman has led the Longhorns to a 5-2 record this season, including wins in each of the last three contests. That streak includes an overtime road win over then-No. 6 Oklahoma State on Halloween. It was the program's first top-10 road win since 2010, and marked the second time this season that Texas has overcome a double-digit deficit to win on the road this season.
