AUSTIN -- In the midst of a verbal victory lap Wednesday, Texas coach Tom Herman was asked about the announced departure of promising receiver Reggie Hemphill-Mapps.
"You guys can find the cloud in any silver lining," Herman responded with a bit of a laugh.
Even the most dogged media members were having trouble finding the downside of the Herman's second recruiting class at Texas. The school announced 27 signees, including eight on Wednesday to go with 19 from the early signing period and checked a lot of boxes. The 247Sports composite ranking has Texas third, behind only Georgia and Ohio State.
