Handful of Longhorns suffer minor injuries in win over West Virginia

The Texas Longhorns went on the road and recorded a 42-31 win over the West Virginia Mountaineers on Saturday afternoon, but the victory didn’t come without a handful of minor injuries to key contributors.

Nickel back B.J. Foster, who missed the previous two games with a hamstring injury, suffered a stinger early in the game on a huge hit on Kennedy McKoy, which was ultimately reviewed for targeting. However, the targeting call was reversed and after spending some time in the medical tent, Foster did return and notched an interception.

Running back Keaontay Ingram, too, suffered a stinger in his neck that sent him to the medical tent after attempting to pick up a block on VanDarius Cowan.
