The Texas Longhorns got another key piece for the reload under new head coach Chris Beard as junior guard Courtney Ramey announced via Instagram that he was returning to school.
In spite of some late-season struggles, Ramey was a key contributor for Texas for the 2020-21 season, averaging 12.2 points per game and shot 41.4 percent from three-point range. He hit scored double-figures in 20 of the Longhorns’ 27 games this year, finishing third on the team in scoring.
According to his post, Ramey is going through the NBA Draft process for evaluation but plans on retaining his eligibility to return to Texas.
