The first SEC conference schedule was unveiled for Texas football for the 2024 season live on the SEC Network on June 14. Texas got a pretty intriguing eight-game conference schedule for its first season in the SEC next fall, including three traditional rivalry games.
Head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns will get to face the Oklahoma Sooners in the Red River Rivalry game at the traditional site of the Cotton Bowl at the Texas State Fairgrounds in Dallas. And then, the Longhorns will travel to College Station to face the in-state rival Texas A&M Aggies at Kyle Field for the first time since the 2011 season.
