COLUMBIA, Mo. — Sophomore Will Gasparino mounted his first career multi-homer performance and drove in eight runs, as No. 7 Texas (21-3, 6-1 SEC) posted a 15-4 run-rule victory over Missouri (9-15, 0-7 SEC) on Friday night at Taylor Stadium.
Gasparino belted two of the Longhorns' co-season-high five home runs, helping Texas secure its best start to conference play in 13 years.
The center fielder became just the third Longhorn to tally eight RBI in a game since 2008, joining Brandon Belt (2008) and Porter Brown (2023).
Gasparino delivered a two-run single in the third, before launching a pair of three-run blasts in both the fourth and fifth frames.
