On Tuesday evening, Cincinnati (Oh.) Archbishop Moeller forward and Texas Longhorns signee Jaxson Hayes was named a 1st team All-Ohio selection, via the schools Twitter account.
The 6’10 195-pound forward led the Greater Catholic League in Ohio with 87 blocks. Hayes was also fifth in the league in points, averaging 12 points per game, and first in the league in rebounds, averaging 6.9 rebounds per game.
Hayes’ growth and improvement on his game between his junior and senior season paid off. The four-star product from the Cincinnati-area had multiple eye-popping highlight reel plays throughout the season.
Moeller basketball and Hayes’ season is not done just yet, as the Crusaders will playing in the State semifinals this Friday.
