Texas officially has its floor general.
Four-star point guard Matt Coleman signed his letter of intent Wednesday, cementing his commitment to the Longhorns. The Oak Hill Academy (Wilson, Va.) product is the fourth top-100 recruit in 247Sports' composite rankings to sign a letter of intent to Texas this recruiting cycle.
"Matt Coleman is a pure point guard," head coach Shaka Smart said Wednesday. "He orchestrates offense. He creates shots. He makes everyone around him better."
A Virginia native, Coleman shined as a senior with the Warriors, averaging 12.3 points and 7.9 assists in 2016-17.
