Texas is on a roll.
Just hours after landing a commitment from four-star Katy running back Kyle Porter, the Longhorns reeled in a commitment from four-star St. Augustine (La.) defensive tackle D'Andre Christmas-Giles.
"I will continue my education and further my education at the University of Texas," Christmas-Giles said during a live broadcast on WWL.
Christmas-Giles committed to Texas over fellow finalists LSU and TCU. He also held offers from Arkansas, Miami, Texas A&M and others.
Christmas-Giles was originally committed to Tennessee but backed out of his verbal pledge in December -- just one day after making an official visit to Texas.
