INDIANAPOLIS – Texas Swimming's Carson Foster won his third gold medal of the week at the United States Phillips 66 National Championships on Saturday with a victory in the 200-meter individual medley at the Indiana University Natatorium.
Foster previously captured the 200-meter butterfly and 400-meter individual medley titles to secure three individual events on the United States roster for the 2023 World Aquatics Championships. The gold closed Texas' medal count at 11 during the five days of competition, including a gold each day from the men's squad.
Texas featured a pair of swimmers in the 200m IM final, with Texas Ex joining Foster in the championship heat.
