BUDAPEST, Hungary – Texas Swimming's Carson Foster won the silver medal for the United States in the 200-meter individual medley at the FINA World Championships on Wednesday at the Danube Arena. Foster has captured two medals at the meet, after winning silver in the 400 IM on Saturday.
"Coming off this past year and two silver medals is way more than I expected," Foster said of his performance." I am going to celebrate the second place for a little bit, but next goal is to get on top."
In a tight race with France's Leon Marchand, Foster registered 1:55.
